Host Families for International Students
Did you know that Bishop Chatard enrolls international students? These students stay with us year after year and graduate from Bishop Chatard. During the school year, these students live with local families who provide meals, transportation and loving support, for which they receive monthly compensation.

Our Foreign Links Around the Globe (FLAG) students have the choice of hundreds of schools throughout the country, but they chose Bishop Chatard because of our academic rigor, values-based education, and wealth of opportunities. FLAG students really become a part of the family and are expected to participate in family outings, extended family gatherings, vacations, chores or jobs at home, etc. Word has gotten out that Trojan families are loving, kind and supportive -- all of the qualities that you would want in the family hosting your own child.

This culturally enriching opportunity yields life-long friendships and countless other benefits. Would you be interested in learning more about becoming a host family? Please contact Catherine Welch at  cwelch@bishopchatard.org  for more information about specific students who we need to place. Additional information about the program and the application can be found at  www.flag-intl.org
