Carroll Community,
We have come to the end of our first full week of school! And with the end of the week brought our first chance to gather as a full school community since March of 2020 as we held our first school-wide mass. We joined together in prayer and we blessed a number of our student leaders as they started the year with their activities and will bless another set of student leaders at our October mass.
Our Faith is at the center of pretty much everything we do here at Archbishop Carroll, and it brought me great joy to see all of our students together again, in one place. It truly feels as if the school year has now started!
There has been one change to our school schedule: Thursday, October 14th, was supposed to be 8th Grade Visitation Day, a day for students from the surrounding Archdiocesan grade schools to come and experience Archbishop Carroll. We received word this week that the day has been canceled. So, Thursday, October 14th is now a full day of school for all students.
Please take a look at the rest of our notes and announcements below.

Vaccine Verification Information
If you have yet to provide Vaccine Verification information for your child, please complete the Google Form that can be found HERE.
This information will be kept private but will help the administration to quickly address any COVID issues that arise during the school year. Unvaccinated students who become exposed to someone who has tested positive for the virus may be required to quarantine for a certain period of time. Such quarantines would require temporary exclusion from extra-curricular school-sponsored activities. If families do not supply information regarding the vaccination status of their child(ren), the school will need to assume that the child(ren) is not vaccinated.

The Archbishop Carroll Boys and Girls Rowing Team is in their tenth year this year! Each year in the fall, the team and coaches run a Learn-To-Row program for freshmen as well as anyone else who may be interested in trying or learning more about the sport of rowing. The program starts at the beginning of October, and runs for 5-6 weeks, with two sessions/practices each week. These sessions include time spent at Carroll working with the ergometers (rowing machines), and others at the Hines Rowing Center in Conshohocken, where students are introduced to the equipment and proper procedures. At the conclusion of the program, students will get out onto the Schuylkill river and get a feel for what rowing really is like!
If you have any interest in the Learn-To-Row program or about our program itself, please complete the Google form HERE. We will be sending out an additional email to those interested regarding specific dates and times at the end of next week. if you have any additional questions about the program, please reach out to one of our coaches, Mr. Chris Eberz - [email protected].
