Pius XI Family Newsletter | June 5, 2024

At the end of this school year we give thanks to God: For all the teaching and learning that have taken place in our school, both in and out of the classroom, For the talents and gifts that have been shared and the challenges that have been faced; For the burdens that have been lifted and the hurts that have been healed; For the respect and care that has been given. We give thanks for the friendships that have just begun and for those that have grown. For the faith that has been lived in our daily struggles, For the hope that has lifted our hearts on the dark days And for the love that has kept us going. We give thanks for the community that we are, and we ask you to bless each family during this summer break that, that we may return renewed and refreshed to continue our journey together. Amen.

Letter from the Principal

Parents and Guardians,

As you begin your summer, please be aware that during the summer months this newsletter will be sent every other week. We know that you will be focused on family, vacations and many other of the joys that summer brings, but we will still have important information and updates as the summer progresses.

Please make sure that your student has returned their Chromebook (this is for all 9-11th graders) and their books. All books and Chromebooks are due by Monday, June 10th at 2:00pm.

We will be sending invoices for lost materials out over the next week or two. To avoid any additional costs to you, please bring these items back to Pius XI. Lastly, we need to collect all unpaid AP fees by the end of this week. Taking care of all of these financial responsibilities is critical in allowing us to close out our fiscal year and begin active planning for a successful 2024-2025 school year. One last reminder for all Seniors to notify Sara Albright in Counseling of final college and post-high school plans. You can send your decisions to data@piusxi.org

During the summer months, our building hours are 8:00am - 2:00pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am - 12:00pm on Fridays.

We hope that you had an outstanding school year and will enjoy a restful and safe summer. If there is anything that we can do for you in the meantime, please do not hesitate to ask.

Padres y Guardianes,

Puedes enviar tus decisiones a datos@piusxi.org
