Heavenly Father, as this school year comes to an end, help us to take the time to reflect on our priorities. Inspire our students to focus on what must take place in order to achieve academic success. Guide our students to recall and apply all that they have learned and to acknowledge what a privilege education is. Bring comfort and peace to those with anxiety and confidence to those who do not believe in their ability to perform well. Inspire all students to use all they have learned in order to go out into the world and contribute to the Kingdom of God for your greater glory. We ask this in your name. Amen.

Parents and Guardians,
As we draw to the close of another academic year, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the achievements and milestones that have shaped our school community over the past months. This year has been one of growth, learning, and resilience, and we are incredibly proud of our students, staff, and families for their unwavering commitment and support. I would like to first extend my heartfelt congratulations to our graduating seniors.

We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday at graduation! Truly, high school graduation is one of the most important of life’s milestones and we are all grateful to have the opportunity to share it with you.
To our underclassmen, we commend you for your academic and personal growth this year and look forward to the contributions you will make in the coming years. We also would like to take a moment to acknowledge the support and involvement of our parents and guardians. Your continued partnership is essential to the success of our students, and we are grateful for the role you play in their education. As we look ahead to the next school year, we know that our schedule change will be a significant change for the community. Please be on the lookout for a newsletter twice per month from the Pius XI leadership team and also for release of student schedules as soon as we are able!
In closing, we wish you a restful and enjoyable summer break. Take this time to recharge, spend quality moments with loved ones, and reflect on the accomplishments of the past year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall, refreshed and ready for another successful school year. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Padres y Guardianes,
Al finalizar otro año académico, nos gustaría tomarnos un momento para reflexionar sobre los logros e hitos que han dado forma a nuestra comunidad durante los últimos meses. Este año ha sido de crecimiento, aprendizaje y resiliencia, y estamos increíblemente orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias por su compromiso y apoyo inquebrantables. En primer lugar, me gustaría extender mis más sinceras felicitaciones a nuestros estudiantes del último año que se gradúan. Su arduo trabajo y determinación han dado sus frutos y estamos emocionados de ver el brillante futuro que les espera a cada uno de ustedes. Ya sea que vayas a la universidad, ingreses a la fuerza laboral o emprendas otros esfuerzos, sabemos que seguirás enorgulleciendo a Pius. ¡Esperamos verlos a todos el domingo en la graduación! En verdad, la graduación de la escuela secundaria es uno de los hitos más importantes de la vida y todos estamos agradecidos de tener la oportunidad de compartirlo con ustedes.
A nuestros estudiantes de primer año, los felicitamos por su crecimiento académico y personal este año y esperamos las contribuciones que harán en los próximos años. También nos gustaría tomarnos un momento para reconocer el apoyo y la participación de nuestros padres y tutores. Su colaboración continua es esencial para el éxito de nuestros estudiantes y estamos agradecidos por el papel que desempeña en su educación. Mientras miramos hacia el próximo año escolar, sabemos que nuestro cambio de horario será un cambio significativo para la comunidad. ¡Esté atento a un boletín informativo dos veces al mes del equipo de liderazgo de Pío XI y también a la publicación de los horarios de los estudiantes tan pronto como podamos!
Para terminar, le deseamos unas relajantes y agradables vacaciones de verano. Chromebook Return and Fees

Chromebooks need to be returned no later than May 31, 2024 so we can perform updates, check for damage and make sure they are in working order for the upcoming year. Please read this letter carefully regarding returning Chromebook to IT and associated fees for late and/or damaged items. | |

Greetings!
As the year comes to a close, I want to thank you all for your support. I believe it truly does take a village to ensure that our children are safe, healthy, and well. It has been my pleasure getting to know the students and parents/guardians of the Class of 2024.

The theme for next year's yearbook is: Finding our Way
Your cover should be visually appealing, represent our community, and include the Pius XI name and year on it.
The winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.

Pius XI is seeking a host family for a young man from Vietnam. He will be starting 11th grade in the fall. The family is willing to offer a host family a small stipend for his stay.

Band and Orchestra Presented Spring Concert May 21
Groups performing included the Beginning Band, Beginning Strings, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Combo, Symphonic Band and String Orchestra.
The highlight of the concert was a suite of selections from Star Wars by the combined Band/Orchestra/Percussion Ensemble.

There will be a four Night Wrestling clinic at Pius XI, June 24-27 (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday- Thursday) from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the Wrestling room downstairs in the Field House.
We will be demonstrating moves as well as the basics of wrestling. There will also be some strength and conditioning. We will be wrestling some matches at their level and weight. Each wrestler will receive a free t- shirt. Please wear a shirt, shorts, and wrestling shoes.
Parents/guardians must sign a release for students to participate.
