Fr. Hunt Celebration
Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday to help celebrate Fr. Hunt’s 40th anniversary of his ordination. We are so blessed to have him as part of the St. John’s family!
Volunteer behind the Curtain?
St. John’s has achieved notable success in livestreaming services. This is now a permanent part of our ministry, received by many local households, regionally, nationally, and beyond. Would you like to be part of this ministry team as we grow?

If you would like to support livestreaming one Sunday, every month or so, we’d like to hear from you (age 18 and up). We will provide training and mentoring. It’s not as intimidating as it looks.

If interested, please contact our Verger, Ray Summerell at or 912-777-9532.
P.A.C.K. Updates for June & July
We will not meet at P.A.C.K. on July 7th but will meet on the third Wednesdays of the month, June 16th and July 21st.
If you have any questions, please call Cathy Baxter at (912) 704-5111.

Backpacks & School Supplies
While school may have just let out for the summer, St. John’s Outreach committee is working with P.A.C.K. and Urban Hope to help local students start the next school year with a new backpack, filled with supplies! You may help by purchasing backpacks from Amazon (via or making a $30 donation to sponsor a backpack. Make checks out to St. John’s Church with Outreach Backpacks in the memo.
The Outreach Committee will purchase all of the needed supplies and we’ll pack these backpacks together at St. John’s Church on Sunday, July 11th after the 11 am service. Stay tuned for more details!
