Operations & Safety

Reminder: There is an all employee safety meeting Wednesday, January 24th at 8:15 a.m.

Accounting

The January pay period ends Wednesday, January 24th. Please have last week's time entered today, and all time must be entered by Thursday morning. Readings can be submitted either Wednesday afternoon or no later than Thursday morning.

Billing Bills were due Wednesday, January 10th. Cutoff day is Wednesday, January 17th. Billing is January 22nd. Readings are from December 15th to January 15th. Members have the option on SmartHub to store their payment information and pay their statement with a simple click of a button. SmartHub sends notification emails when bills are due and confirmations when payments have been received. Those members who have SmartHub can also be added to listings for ROW letters or emergency type notifications via email.

Engineering & IT The annual Miles of Line report has been completed for the year of 2023. Every completed staking sheet is compiled by month and calculated using spreadsheets. Our mapping system is used to determine how many miles have been added or reduced in each school district as well as an overall total. After all the lines were changed and or built, the total miles of line have increased by 13 miles. REC is currently maintaining 3,065 miles of line as of December 31, 2023. The report is sent to the state of Oklahoma Tax Commisson each year by March 1st.

Member Services & Marketing

Member Services is currently putting final plans in place for this year's Youth Leadership Summit. The Summit is scheduled for January 31st. Rhett Laubach will bring his motivational style presentation and interact with the students teaching them about leadership and leading them in various activities. The scholarship committee has met and chosen the ten finalists. Each student will have an interview scheduled with the committee to be held in February.
