Call For Acolytes
As we return to more 'normal' services, we are excited
to bring back the all-important role of Acolytes in our program.
We hope to start small and build back to having a full complement of youth and adult servers join Fr. Devin (and others) in the celebrations here at St.Alban's.
We are looking for:
Those who have served in the past to help reinstate this important role and to help guide new participants learning to serve.
Both young and adult new participants to learn and be involved in this wonderful part of our services.
Family and parishioner support for participants in
the Acolyte program.
What we need:
Being available to participate in Sunday and other services during the year. (We work within your schedule.)
Willingness to learn the procedures and tasks of this important role in Christian celebration.
Excitement and enjoyment in being a part of our worship.
What to expect:
Being a member of a special group within the St. Albans community.
Enjoying special Acolyte parties and get-togethers, both here and with other Episcopal communities.
Gaining special knowledge of the Episcopal Church and Christian worship.
You will gain a knowledge and experience in the church that will last a lifetime. Get a new perspective in the practices and principles of our celebration of Christianity.
