Upcoming Corporal Work of Mercy

10K & 5K presented by Georgia Carolina Orthopedics on February 28

We’re looking for amazing volunteer groups and individuals for February 27 & 28 at the Augusta Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K presented by Georgia Carolina Orthopedics. Volunteers are the heart of the event, supporting runners every step of the way! This is a great opportunity to get volunteer hours, meet new people, and serve your local running community!

  • Volunteers needed on Friday, February 27, for Expo Set Up, Packet Stuffing, Packet Pickup/Registration, & Expo Tear Down
  • Volunteers needed on Saturday, February 28, for Start/Finish Line, Gear Drop, Course Marshals, Post Race Food, and Event Tear Down

Tryouts and practice will begin Monday, January 26th at Newman Tennis Center at 3:30. Matches begin on February 9th vs Fox Creek.

Parent/Grandparent Rosary and Coffee. All are welcome on Tuesday, January 27th at 8:10 a.m. in the chapel.

Competition Cheer Interest Meeting

Are you interested in being a part of the Irish Competition Cheerleading team? Coaches will be holding an interest meeting on Wednesday, January 28th at 7:00 pm in the Media Center. Come learn what it takes to compete with the Irish! This meeting will be for Competition Cheerleading only.

Shelia Stewart will be teaching a Mini SAT Prep Class on Saturday, March 7th 9:00-12:00 at Aquinas

The “SAT or ACT Strategy overview mini course” provides test overview, familiarity with the exam, and some of the key test strategies for the exam overall and for many of the specific reading and math question types. The class fee includes in class use of the textbook and all study materials.

The “SAT or ACT Prep course” is designed to fully prepare the student to do his or her best on the exam. The course includes approximately 16 hours of instruction, 4 full-length practice exams to be taken as homework, review of much of the practice exams, review of technical topics tested, and test-taking strategies for each section and each question type on the exam. Classes include in-class use of the textbook and all study materials. Students will download the Bluebook App to take practice exams.
