Applications Are Now Open for ASSURE


The Arts & Sciences Support for Undergraduate Research Experiences (ASSURE) program is accepting applications now through April 30. ASSURE Fellows will have the opportunity to work with a mentor of their choice on a research project during the fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters (Academic Year 2024-2025). Fellows will receive a $1,600 stipend per semester ($3,200 for the entire academic year). All ASSURE Fellows will be expected to present their research at the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Conference (UROC) in the spring of 2025.

Community-based Research Initiative 2024-2025 Call for Proposals

 

The UNM Center for Regional Studies (CRS) in partnership with the College of Arts & Sciences

(A &S) announces its Community-based Research Initiative. This initiative is to financially support

two community-based research project during FY25. The CRS and A & S partnership will provide

up to $30,000 for the fiscal year. CRS invites project proposals from UNM faculty.

2024 Women in STEM Award Call for Nominations


The awards, now in their ninth year at UNM, range from $3,000 to $15,000, and three types of grants will be given. The categories include travel awards to foster collaborations, seed awards to stimulate research projects that will lead to additional external funding, and workshop awards designed to generate innovative research ideas and collaborations.
