Reminder: No Guests Permitted this Weekend
Here’s a friendly reminder that guests are not permitted in Residence from March 20–22.
Hosting any guests violates your Residence Contract and will result in follow-up from the Residence Conduct Office. A guest is any non-resident of your building, including students living in other residences.

Help Keep Residences Safe and Secure
Residence is your home. It’s important to ensure only other residents and their invited guests are in your building. Don't let strangers into your building or let anyone 'tailgate' behind you when you come and go. Keep an eye out for propped exterior doors, and if you see one, please close and lock it. Meeting your friends at the main entrance to let them in is a small step that makes a big difference for everyone’s safety.
We all have a responsibility to keep buildings secure. If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and call Campus Security at 613 533-6080. Thanks so much for your part in keeping your home and your community safe.

Preparing for Move-Out
Queen's Residences will close on April 23 at 1 pm, with Leonard and Jean Royce dining halls also closing at 1 pm that day.
You must move out by 3 pm on the day following your final exam. Should you wish to stay beyond this time, you can:
- Submit an extension request to stay until Residence closure on April 23 at 1 pm.
-
Submit a stayover request to stay in Residence until April 26 at 12 pm noon. After this time, students will be required to relocate to Summer Accommodation at the rates posted on our website.
If you're looking for an extension or stayover, you will need to submit a request through the Housing and Ancillary Services Portal. The forms are not yet live. You can submit requests up until April 16 at 12 pm noon.
We will share more information about the process in upcoming editions of the newsletter.

Tips to support a wasteless move-out:
- Pack your belongings in free boxes available at all three dining halls, Lazy Scholar, Location 21, and Wally’s.
- Consider taking items home that you no longer need ahead of time, if possible.
- Set aside some items you want to donate (clothing, shoes, and usable school supplies). In the coming weeks, donation stations will be available to receive unwanted items.
