Every week students are exploring a variety of academics, technology, and the arts. Please enjoy some of our favorite traditions and new traditions happening at Park Maitland School.
Today our school celebrated Black History Month in the AAC. Each grade level presented a tribute to Black Americans that have made an impact in our very own community for this month's assembly. "I really enjoyed the first-grade video about Jackie Robinson," Aariz E said. The assembly connected us to our local community and the culture around us. In the end, everyone listened to a song by Buddy Guy to remind us that we are "Skin Deep". Please enjoy our video highlight of this event, here.
K4
Tuesday marked a special and rare occasion: 2-22-22. Our K4 students celebrated by wearing tutus, a pair of tube socks, or found a friend and dressed up as twins for the day.
