Every week students are exploring a variety of academics, technology, and the arts. Please enjoy some of our favorite traditions and new traditions happening at Park Maitland School.
For the end of August, first and sixth graders received a special letter from their "Jelly Fudge Friend", a tradition that has been going on for twenty-eight years. In September, our students will attend their first of many events with the "BIG REVEAL" of who their Jelly Fudge Friend will be. Stay tuned for this special event on September 14th.
This week, Ms. Trombley's Tinkering Lab class had our students designing and coming up with world-changing ideas.
Coach Larrimore, Ms. Miller, and Ms. Eichelberger kept our students active this week running laps, doing jumping jacks, push ups, and dodgeball.
Fifth grade students in Mr. Driscoll's class worked in small groups learning about integers and positive and negative absolute value.
Super Seniors in Ms. Petree's science class performed a "Properties of Matter" Lab. Students tested magnetism, density, solubility, and conductivity!
First graders learned all about "Super E" in Reading/ESW! Super E can fly over one letter and if he finds a vowel, he can make the vowel say its name.
