K4 World Premiere
"The Land of the Letter People”
A Silent Movie
by K-4 Yellow, Green, and Blue
2022

Here is the filmed theatrical production for K-4 Yellow, Green, and Blue. The K-4 dressed up as a Letter Person and created their very own Silent Movie!!
We researched lots of silent films, learned how they used to be made in black and white, and how characters had to express themselves with only their bodies and faces. I have adored working on this project with them. The kiddos, teachers, and staff really got into it and made magic happen!!

A big gigantic thank you to Bobby Kohn who took my vision and script and ran with it! Mr. Kohn was our cinematographer and video editor! He was and is amazing!! He should win an Oscar! Thanks to all the amazing parents that pitched in, I couldn’t have done this without you!

I hope you ENJOY. (Click on the link below)

Read to Lead
Every year students from each grade level participate in a monthly program called "Read to Lead" at Park Maitland School. Librarian/Media Specialist, Ms. Talbert is passionate about this program and enjoys celebrating the program with a special year end event. "This year, we had a record number of 109 students who participated. Out of the 109 students, 16 students this year went above and beyond by completing each reading activity for each day of every month. They are receiving a trophy today. Congratulations Read to Lead leaders!" Ms. Talbert said.
