In-Person Closures in other Councils: What does it mean for SWC?

In light of recent decisions made by other councils regarding shuttering in-person meetings, many Scouters have been interested in whether Shining Waters Council will follow suit.

The short answer is no. SWC continues to be in Stage 2 at this moment and we continue to welcome both in-person outdoor activities and virtual activities, as long as it is permitted by governing bodies (federal, provincial, local, Scouts Canada, etc.)

Please continue to monitor your local health unit's updates and your emails for updates from your CK3. AS well, this is a good time to review the Pandemic Program Modification Standard and FAQ for more information.

Feel overwhelmed or confused? No worries - remember, you can always count on your Relationship Manager (SRM / GSS) if you need any advice or have any questions.
