Last Week for Scout Coffee Sales!

Our inaugural Scout Coffee fundraiser wraps up this coming Sunday, November 22nd.

Groups may take advantage of this final week by promoting coffee sales to businesses in need of holiday gifts for clients, customers and contractors using this handy letter template; anyone ordering over $1000 in value may place the order in batches of $1000 via the scoutcoffee.ca website or submit the order via this form.

Let's grind through this week, filter out the noise, and ensure a steady drip of strong fundraising!
2021 Registration: Great Work in SWC!

As of today, SWC has 889 youth registered for January 2021! Well done, team!

Everyone across the council is doing a great job keeping the movement going and endeavoring to provide those great, safe, scouting adventures to the youth in our communities.

Remember registration opens today to the general public: it is a great opportunity to touch base again with returning members and free trial participants and let them know they still have time to register before remaining spots are scooped up.

Talk to your GSS or RM for any assistance you may need.
Shining Waters Council Remembers

Youth and Scouters from across the council honoured Remembrance Day this year in new and different ways. Gathering in small groups to lay poppies at our local cenotaphs or walking as if we were in a parade anyway, Scouts across the council showed our resiliency by taking part in meaningful activities we've never done before. We pause and thank all of our brave servicemen and women who have served and given their lives. Lest we forget.
