Dear Oak Ridge Church Family,
We had a great Father’s Day celebration on Sunday with the Riden family joining our church and we’re thrilled to be welcoming another family this Sunday.
God is doing a lot of exciting things here at Oak Ridge UMC. The youth are flying to Denver Sunday morning for their mission trip. As you are leaving the worship service, I’ll have a basket with every person’s name who is participating in the Youth Mission trip. Please take a youth’s name, or a Youth Leaders name, to pray over them while they are in Denver. What a privilege and honor to have this opportunity to take our Youth and their leaders to the Lord in prayer!
Also, please pray about giving beyond your tithes and offerings to support our Mission Team Fees. The cost to fly has increased significantly, for example, the flight to Denver was over budget by over $3000 due to the recent rise in flight costs. This is the last Sunday of the month to give towards this particular Mission of the Month. We need your support.
It’s time to sign up your children for Vacation Bible School! Helpers are also needed; please sign up to serve at VBS as a changemaker. July 11-14
