Eagle Scout Erik G. of Troop 191 from the Pacifica District. Erik will be attending the University of Vermont to play Division 1 lacrosse and major in Exercise Science.

Eagle Scout Adam G. of Troop 4 from the Rose Bowl District. Adam will be attending California Polytechnic State University San Louise Obispo to study Business Administration.

Eagle Scout Anuj K. of Troop 394 from the Pio Pico District. Anuj will be attending UC Berkeley to major in Aerospace Engineering.

Eagle Scout Chris W. of Troop 278 from the El Camino Real District will be attending UC Riverside to study Biology with the hopes of going into the medical field.

Scouts BSA Joining Requirements Opens Door to Earlier Participation - This small but meaningful change to the joining requirements for Scouts BSA could mean eligibility for earlier participation. 

Scouts will be placing flags again this year on the graves at the Los Angeles National Cemetery in West Los Angeles, 950 South Sepulveda Blvd.

Cub Twilight Camp is designed to bring the camping experience to the Cub Scout while accommodating the busy schedule of Parents/Guardians/Den Leaders.

Calling all Eagle Scouts! (21 and older) Join us on Thursday, May 19th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Arts District Brewery, 828 Traction Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90013. The cost is $15/person. $20 at the door. 

Now that we are coming to the end of the school year, it is important to recognize those outstanding educators that have supported their students and Scouting.

There is a Scouter recognition knot that many Scouters may earn that you might not have heard, but it has been around a number of years.  This knot is called the Alumni Award. This award has not been promoted in our council, up until now.  In fact, there has only been two people who have earned this award in the Greater Los Angeles Area Council.
