EarlyVotingPressConferenceEarly Voting Press Conference
On Tuesday we joined Senator Kavanagh and our good government allies at a press conference calling on Governor Cuomo to include funding for early voting in his budget proposal. Many other Senators and Assembly members joined the press conference to show their support.

FebFebruary In-District Lobby Visits
We are feeling confident that this year the Governor will be including funding for early voting in his 2018 budget proposal. However, there is no guarantee the Assembly and Senate will include that funding in their budget proposals. It is up to advocacy groups like the League to encourage their members to keep this funding in the final budget.

We will be asking Local Leagues to meet with their Assembly members and Senators during their February break. This break begins on February 14th and ends on February 26th.  Contact your Issues and Advocacy Chair if you are interested in joining members for a lobby meeting.
