It's been a quiet week at the Capitol with the legislature on their February break. On Tuesday they will return and budget negotiations will continue.

LetNYVote is helping to organize a new action that New Yorkers can take to encourage their neighbors to get involved. The group has put together a
a virtual phone banking program that allows participants to help encourage other voters to call their Senators. You don't have to live in a targeted Senator's district, you just have to be willing to talk on the phone.

You can help participate in the phone bank by signing up here. Those who live in targeted districts can use the materials to do their own outreach to their friends and neighbors.

We have scheduled our annual lobby day for Tuesday, April 24th. Lobby day is an opportunity for members to meet with their legislators in Albany. We will have presentations from our Issues Specialist and Legislative Director. If you are interested in attending sign up here!
