firstOne Week Left to Advocate for Early Voting in the State Budget!
We have one more week to urge legislators to include funding for early voting in the state budget! This week we had a great call updating members on what the State League is doing and how they can help. You can read the call notes here and listen to the recording here.
)
Now with only one week remaining, we are encouraging members to call their legislators and urge them to include $7 million in funding for early voting in the state budget. Even if your legislator is supportive, remind them how important this reform is and ask them to stay strong in supporting it in the budget.
Senate: 518-455-2800
Assembly: 518-455-4218

aprilApril Break in District Lobby Visits
Here we go again! The first two weeks of April, legislators will be home for spring break. Typically, we encourage Local Leagues to touch base with their legislators during this break. Because budget negotiations are on going, we have not finalized the lobby materials for these visits. The topics will be centered around voting and ethics reforms.
If you are interested in attending an April break lobby visit, reach out to your Issues and Advocacy Chair. Stay tuned for materials and updates on topics!
