The Zentangle Meditative Art class is held via Zoom on Wednesday mornings beginning at 10 AM. No art background needed or required. Please have the following items available: several sheets of copy paper, a no.2 sharpened pencil, a black pen with a fine tip and good ink flow, a Q-tip and a scissors (to cut out our drawing paper). Siddur Class will NOT be held on Tuesday, May 10 or May 17. Our next session is scheduled (via Zoom) for Tuesday, May 24, at 10:30 AM. A Zoom link will be provided as the date draws closer.

Movie Night at Kol Shalom
Kol Shalom Movie Night continues (via Zoom) with the presentation of The Chosen on Thursday, May 12, at 7 PM. Starring Maximillian Schell, Robbie Benson, Rod Steiger and Ron Rifkin, The Chosen, based on the best-selling Chaim Potok novel, was released in 1981 and is set in 1944 Brooklyn.

Men's Club
The Men’s Club is excited to offer a Private Group Tour of the U.S. Naval Academy campus and select buildings.

We are scheduled for our tour at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 15, 2022. The tour will last until approximately 3:30PM.

Cost of the tour is as follows: $11.50 Adults; $10.50 Seniors (62+); $9.50 Students (K-12). Please send a check payable to Kol Shalom Men's Club to Mary Fortin at the synagogue office (1909 Hidden Meadow Lane; Annapolis, MD 21401) along with a list of participants. Attendees are welcome to have lunch at one of the USNA restaurants prior to or following the tour. More information on eating options is forthcoming.

Women's League
It is with thanks that we acknowledge the donations made to the Oneg/Kiddush fund. Howard Salob reads the list at services each Shabbat and we publish the list in The Weekly Shofar as well. Click here to view a list of donations for May 2022.

In addition to using the funds to serve food in the building, we are donating funds to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank and the Anne Arundel Community College Student Food Bank.

USY Seaboard Regional Event: Spring Convention is Friday May 27 - Monday May 30 at Camp Louise. This event is open to all 8th-12th grade Seaboard USY members.
