Volunteer Needed
Volunteer Needed to be Kol Shalom Payroll Coordinator

Your main responsibility will be to prepare a biweekly payroll file for most congregation employees and a monthly payroll file for DRRS teachers, using a web-based Intuit payroll program. Each session takes about 20-30 minutes. Other duties include sending software generated reports and forms to employees and to federal and state tax offices. Our current coordinator, Barry Rosenberg, will be moving in early 2021; he would like to train and assist his successor this fall to ensure a smooth transition.

Do you want to help Kol Shalom? Are you comfortable using TurboTax, TaxAct or a similar program? Then you would make the perfect payroll coordinator! Contact Barry (301-249-5154, msg4barry@verizon.net ) for more information and a demonstration of the payroll program.

Women's League
Due to our being unable to gather together at the synagogue, those who have donated to the Sisterhood’s Oneg/Kiddush fund have been unable to have their occasions recognized. However, that does not make the events any less significant, and it is with thanks that we acknowledge the donations made by the following for Onegs and Kiddushim that would have been had we been together.

Please click below to view the list.

If, during this time of social distancing, you need assistance with picking up groceries, prescriptions, going to the post office, etc, please contact Rabbi Wohl at rabbiwohl@gmail.com or Cindy Weiner at cswhome11@gmail.com . We will be happy to connect you with somebody who can provide errand assistance for you.
