Women's League
Please join us for an informal chat via Zoom with author Ellyn Bache on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 7:30 PM. The topic will be "From Carbon Copies to the Cloud."

Bring your own snacks to our “come as you are” gathering to chat with Ellyn about her experiences as a mother, writer, educator and publisher.  This event is free and open to all. Please click here to register. A Zoom link will be provided once your registration is submitted.

Women's League Dues: Have you renewed your membership with Women's League? Click here for a membership form and instructions on where to send your dues payment.

Oneg/Kiddush Fund: Although we are unable to serve Onegs and Kiddushes at the synagogue at this time, we are still able to recognize your occasions. It is with thanks that we acknowledge the donations made. Howard Salob reads the list at services each Shabbat and we publish the list in The Weekly Shofar as well. Until we are able to serve food again in the building we are donating half of the funds to the AA County Food Bank and the AACC Help Link Program. Click here to make a donation the the Oneg/Kiddish Fund.

Outreach
If, during this time of social distancing, you need assistance with picking up groceries, prescriptions, going to the post office, etc, please contact Rabbi Wohl at rabbiwohl@gmail.com or Cindy Weiner at cswhome11@gmail.com. We will be happy to connect you with somebody who can provide errand assistance for you.
Zentangle
The Zentangle Meditative Art class is held via Zoom on Wednesday mornings beginning at 10 AM. No art background needed or required. Just follow the Zoom link below and have the following available: several sheets of copy paper, a no.2 sharpened pencil, a black pen with a fine tip and good ink flow, a Q-tip and a scissors (to cut out our drawing paper). In The Community
Temple Beth Shalom presents The Abraham Accords on Monday, January 25, at 7 PM. Elad Strohmayer, spokesperson for the Embassy of Israel to the United States, will discuss the significance of the Abraham Accords and changes in geopolitical reality in the Middle East. Monica Jordan invites the Kol Shalom community to join her via Zoom every Tuesday from 7 to 8 PM to meditate together. If you have an item you would like to include in the Weekly Shofar, please compose and e-mail your submission to the synagogue office (see e-mail address below) no later than the preceding Tuesday. Any items received after this time will be held for the following week's announcements.
