Classes

Candle lighting time for Friday,
November 29, is 4:27 PM.

Unless otherwise noted, Shabbat services are held on Friday evenings at 7:30 PM and on Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM.

Our Monday evening service will continue on December 2 beginning at 7 PM. Please help us be sure to have a minyan.
Rabbi Pohl's Siddur class will continue on Tuesday, December 3, at 10:30 AM.

Torah and Tabloids will continue on Thursday, December 5, at 9:30 AM. ( Please note - no class on Thursday, November 28.)

Talmud Study will continue on Monday, December 9, beginning at 10:30 AM. (Please note - no class on Monday, December 2.)
Winter Relief Volunteers Still Needed!

Office CLOSED

The synagogue office will be CLOSED in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29.
Women's League

Women's League Potluck Dinner : Please join us for the annual dairy or parve Pot Luck Dinner on Saturday, December 7th at 7:00 PM at the home of Julie and Gary Applebaum, 2130 Poplar Ridge Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122. Please RSVP to Maxine Silber at 410-266-5804 or [email protected] and tell her what you are bringing to the event.

Dues : Dues are still $36 for the year and include membership in our mother organization. Checks can be made payable to Women's League of Kol Shalom and sent to the synagogue office. Please mark your envelopes "WL Dues. "

Gift Shop
Hanukkah Gift Shop News :  On  Sunday, December 8 , there will be a Hanukkah Bazaar for students (and others) during religious school hours. The gift shop will also be open the morning of Sunday, December 15.  Everything stored in the display cabinets continues to be half-price.

Tree of Life Preschool
We would like to invite you to order challah for your weekly Shabbat celebrations! Rosendorff's Bakery in Baltimore will continue to deliver to our doorstep every Thursday afternoon.
Hadassah
Please join Hadassah on Sunday, December 15, 2:00 P.M., when author and historian David Weinstein will present “The Eddie Cantor Story: A Jewish Life in Performance and Politics,” at Congregation Kol Shalom, 1909 Hidden Meadow Lane, Annapolis.

Bring your spouses and friends to this enjoyable multi-media program. There will be coffee, tea and cookies. Cost is a $10 donation per person to Hadassah.  Send your reservation check made out to Hadassah to Thea Pinskey, 524 Horn Point Dr., Annapolis, 21403 by Monday, December 9. Please indicate how many will be attending.

If you have an item you would like to include in the Weekly Shofar, please compose and e-mail your submission to the synagogue office (see e-mail address below) no later than the preceding Tuesday. Any items received after this time will be held for the following week's announcements.
