Join us for the Wisconsin Grocers Innovation Expo on October 18 & 19, 2022 at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley and Fox Cities Convention Center in Appleton, WI. Discover new trends and information at timely seminars, meet your grocery friends and make new connections in the grocery industry throughout Wisconsin. We'll celebrate the 2022 honorees at the WGA Awards Banquet, cheer loud at the Great Wisconsin Bag-Off Championship and so much more! 

The Great Wisconsin Bag-Off Contest will take place on Wednesday, October 19 at the Fox Cities Convention Center in Appleton, WI and we invite WGA members to send a contestant. To determine your store’s best bagger, hold a contest! All contestants must bag groceries at least 40% of the time. The NGA Bag-Off Guideline Handbook provides tips on holding a store contest. First place at the WGA's event receives $500 and a trip for two to Las Vegas in February, 2023 to compete in the NGA’s Best Bagger Contest with a $10,000 grand prize. Click here to register!

Taylor Schaefer, the 75th Alice in Dairyland for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, will be the Master of Ceremonies! Show Your Cake Skills! The Wisconsin Bakers Association is proud to partner once again with the WGA to present Wisconsin's Cake Decorating Championship. This exciting event will take place at the 2022 Grocers Innovation Expo to be held at the Hilton Paper Valley Hotel & Fox Cities Convention Center in Appleton on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022.

This year's theme is "Celebrate Autumn". Projects will be displayed and judged at the Expo.

All entries must be registered in advance. The early registration deadline for the competition is Wednesday, September 28th. Each entry includes two passes to the WGA Grocery Industry Trade Show on Wednesday, October 19. Space is limited! Click here to register.
