A note from Paige:

ο»ΏAs you have probably heard, the Leadership Engagement Team is officially launching Engagement Pods this semester.

These are small groups (6-12) led by students surrounding a certain topic. It can be anything you are interested in - baking, running, reading, etc. You meet once a week for six weeks to build community with other students with similar interests.

We are currently recruiting Engagement Pod Leaders. If you know someone who might be interested, please pass this along to them.

As an incentive for our staff to lead an Engagement Pod, we are offering you 4 hours (paid) per week to lead a Pod. This would be in addition to your office hours. These hours are so you can have time to prepare and lead your pod well.

If you have any questions, please feel free to chat with Kayla or Paige.

🚨Emergency Action Plan πŸš¨

*University Programs and our events could be vulnerable to a variety of hazards (natural, technological, or human-caused) and emergencies that could cause property damage, injury, disruption of services, and/or loss of life. Effective planning and implementation of an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) could mitigate the effects of such events. To provide an effective response, it is important that University Programs professional and student staff understand their roles and responsibilities during such events. These non-routine responsibilities begin when the incident is forecasted or occurs, and a response ensues. A prepared and coordinated response by the University Programs staff and local officials can save lives, protect property, and quickly restore essential services.
