• The BIS Platform conducts a full screening of your database on a monthly basis (1st of each month).

• Any potential matches will be flagged on the system and these matches can be viewed by going to the Tasks / Events menu and clicking on PEPs List

• Here you will be required to confirm whether the initial / possible match is a "Positive Match" or a "False Positive"

• When you click on the Customer / PEP Match you will see further details of the individual which may include citizenship, residency, details of their role and in some cases there will be photographs to help you to identify positive matches. We advise that you check this page monthly people who weren't identified as a PEP at the onboarding stage, may become a PEP or an RCA (Relative or Closely Known Associate) in the future.

• Should you wish to perform an individual scan of a client or prospect, go to the Client profile page > click Compliance Events (on the right of the screen) > Click on PEPs Check. Here you will be given details of the scan and if any further action is required along with an option to save the report back to the client file. Both these options are also available while completing the Compliance Checklist.

• A certificate can be downloaded as proof of the monthly PEPs scan of your client base. Go to Reports > Latest PEP Report to produce this certificate.
