3rd Street South Farmers Market

Saturday, February 8, 2025

Road closure: 3rd Street South between Broad Avenue South & 13th Avenue South

The Third Street South Farmer’s Market resides directly on Third Street South between Broad Avenue South and 13th Avenue South. The Market will occur every Saturday morning from 7:30 until 11:30 AM until April.

Cars on 5th

Road Closure on 5th Ave S from 9th St S to 3rd St S

February 8, 2025

Road Closure:

On Saturday, February 8th, from 6 AM to 6 PM, 5th Avenue South from 9th Street South (US41) to 3rd Street South will be closed for the annual Cars on 5th event. 

Lane Closures (Southbound)

SR 45 (Tamiami Trail) from 3rd Ave S to 4th Ave S

Sunday, February 9th to Sunday, February 16, 2025

Motorists should anticipate lane closures on US 41 southbound during the nighttime/overnight hours beginning Sunday, February 9 through Sunday, February 16, 2025. Work will occur between 7 PM to 5 AM. Crews will be removing pavers and performing underground work. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

Thermoplastic Brick Crosswalks

8th St S between 7th Ave S & 8th Ave S

Monday, February 10th to Friday, February 14, 2025

On Monday, February 10, 2025, the City will begin the installation of new thermoplastic brick crosswalks along 8th Street South. The work will involve melting thermoplastic brick panels onto the asphalt road. A total of thirteen thermoplastic brick crosswalks will be installed from Cambier Park Way to 8th Avenue South. Expect street closures on 8th Street South between 7th Avenue South and 8th Avenue South for the installation of the crosswalk featuring the “Naples Logo” in front of City Hall. Flaggers will allow traffic flow for the installation of the remaining 12 crosswalks, but please expect some delays. The installation is tentatively scheduled for completion within five business days, weather permitting.

APF Airport Road Sidewalk Repair 

Airport Pulling Rd between Corporate Flight Dr & North Rd

Monday, February 10, 2025

Starting February 10th, a contractor will begin sidewalk repairs on the west side of Airport-Pulling Road near Naples Airport. The repairs will be done in stages, with the contractor starting in Zone 1 and moving north (see map below). Each segment of sidewalk will be closed for about 2 days, weather permitting. 

During construction, pedestrians and cyclists should use one of the signalized intersections at Corporate Flight Drive, Radio Road, or North Road to cross Airport-Pulling Road. They should then use the sidewalk on the east side of the road.

Beach Renourishment Project

Closed: Horizon Way Beach Access

Expected Closure through Early April

The Horizon Way Beach Access is closed until early April due to the Park Shore Beach Renourishment Project. The approved routes being used are shown on the map above. Hours of operation will be six days a week, Mondays through Saturdays, from approximately 7 AM to 7 PM. Completion is anticipated in early April. The beach renourishment will be completed as quickly as possible to minimize impacts to beachgoers.

Pedestrians and cyclists traveling along Gulf Shore Blvd, Park Shore Dr, and Harbour Dr, are advised to use caution.
