The Village of Palmetto Bay has installed new traffic diverters at 2 different locations within the Village.
The diverters on 156th Street and Old Cutler Road, as well as those on 94th Avenue and 180th Street will cut down on cut-through traffic on residential streets by not allowing car access into these neighborhood roads. The traffic diverters are part of a pilot program developed by the Village. If the program is successful, permanent curbing will be considered by the Council as part of the Village's comprehensive traffic plan.
