We are excited to send out week 2 of our Weekly Treasure Chest - Palm Sunday Edition.
INSTRUCTIONS
The goal of our weekly email is to keep you and your family connected to your larger church family at Christ the King. Your kids have been on a journey together every Sunday morning as we are working our way through the Bible, and we don't want our time apart to hinder that journey.
The title Treasure Chest is meant to remind us that we have the precious privilege of teaching the children in our lives how to "mine for gold" or "look for treasures" in the Scriptures.
We want this time to be fun, NOT burdensome. Our goal is to give you simple resources to help you continue what your child has been learning each week in Sunday School. Use these resources as you have time.

Triumphal Entry
Gospel Story Bible, Story 108
LESSON: Find your child's age appropriate lesson below. Work through the teaching points and activities as you see fit. We have also included some additional enrichment activities.
CRAFT: Print out the craft template, if desired, or use a blank sheet of paper. Cut out palm branches or find branches in your yard. Cut out and color the picture of Jesus riding on a donkey and glue over the palm branches.
CRAFT 2: Trace your child's hand print onto green paper. Cut out and glue the hand print on a craft stick to make a palm branch. The kids can wave the palm branch as they listen to the story and pretend to be one of the crowd praising Jesus.
