1.10.2021
Dear Parents and Guardians,

While I am happy to be back to school, I really miss the energy of nearly 400 teenagers. (Especially my lunch circle - Shout out to Sophomores in room 314!!) The news on the vaccine front seems to be getting better, and I dare to dream that sooner rather than later we will all be able to come together again.

Of course, other news isn't so optimistic. It is so hard to verbalize just what I feel about the latest from Washington. Fortunately, my faith brings me moments of comfort. Sunday homilies, especially during the Christmas season, are filled with joy and hope. It is an important reminder that as Catholics, we are part of a community that believes in the saving power of God.

So today, I offer a short prayer; something to hopefully bolster you when you are tired, and lift you when you feel down. My long-time friend texted this to me out of the blue, with no context, without knowing how badly I needed it. I hope if you feel you need it, it bolsters you today as well.
Warmly,
Laura M. Curley
President
Plus Portal and Grades
Check your daughter's grades. Please remember that Plus Portals is the one platform to check on your daughter's assignments and grades. While teachers are using Google classroom as a platform for their remote teaching, it is not the "official" platform they use to keep records. Our teachers update students' grades each week on Plus Portals, so the grades should always be current. If you ever have a question about a grade or missing assignment, please contact the teacher directly. As a reminder, as of the first block of the current school year, we are no longer sending a paper copy of students' report cards. Block 2 report cards can be consulted on Plus Portals as of Tuesday, February. 2. (Please note that Plus Portals will be shut down from January 20 - February 2.)
