2.7.2021
As Catholic Schools Week comes to an end, we take time to thank those who help make a Trinity education possible! Thank you to Trinity’s faculty, staff, administration, and Board of Directors who work tirelessly to ensure that every Blazer receives a safe and quality education; to our alumnae and friends who support Trinity in so many ways; to our Trinity students and families for believing in the Trinity mission; and to our Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters for your daily support and prayers and for believing in the importance of educating young women (103 years strong)!
Out of Uniform February
Since the forecast is predicting plunging temperatures for the next few weeks, we have decided to implement a pause from the requirement to wear a uniform skirt and top effective immediately through the month of February.

What does this mean?
Students are permitted to come to school out of uniform for the remainder of the month of February. They MUST abide by the out of uniform rules as outlined in the student handbook.

This is a privilege being extended to students because of the challenge of being dressed warmly for classrooms in which the windows must remain open for airflow and COVID-19 safety protocol. As such, students who violate the out of uniform policy by wearing clothing that is not Catholic School appropriate will lose their privilege to be out of uniform and will only be permitted on campus in their full Trinity uniform.

***For the month of February 2021, students are permitted to wear non-Trinity sweatshirts or T-shirts (typically, out of Uniform days require Trinity wear). Clothing containing any profane, illegal or inappropriate images, words or references is NEVER permitted on campus.

What you CANNOT wear:
No crop tops, low cut tops, strapless shirts or and tank tops.
No open-toed or backless shoes/slippers
No short shorts/skirts
No clothing containing inappropriate/illegal/profane images, words or references

Father/Daughter Virtual Trivia is THIS FRIDAY!
Don't forget to register for Father/Daughter Trivia!  Since we can't host the Father Daughter Dinner Dance, Fathers Club wants to be certain to get Trinity dads and their daughters together. So Fathers Club will be hosting a Father-Daughter Trivia Night on Friday, February 12th at 7pm.
Sign up for an evening of fun - prizes will be available for first, second, and third place.
Some notes for the Class of 2021:
  • Seniors are reminded to share college acceptance and scholarship letters with Ms. Granholm. This information is recorded and used to help celebrate the Class of 2021 at Honors Convocation and Graduation. Seniors are asked to take a photo or screenshot of their acceptance and scholarship information and email it to Ms. Granholm.
  • This is an ideal time to apply for college scholarships! Trinity maintains a robust listing of scholarships on Naviance, and several scholarships are highlighted in Ms. Granholm's Weekly College Update email that Seniors receive each Monday. Please check in with your student to make sure she is taking advantage of these great opportunities for college funding.
