Notes from the Barrel

Welcome to the weekly underground bulletin from Barrel and Fork, an elevated, southern-infused fine dining experience hidden in the speakeasy shadows.

Join us for bold flavors, jazz-age intrigue, and the latest from behind the hidden door. Stay sharp, stay thirsty, and never leave hungry.

New Menu Items

New Additions - Crab Cakes added to Barrel's Small Plate selection: golden, crisp exteriors giving way to sweet, tender crab—perfect for sharing (or not) with a bold pour. Also added Vietnamese Eggrolls with Nuoc Cham!

In other news: our ever-changing Pasta of the Moment is now a full-fledged Entrée moving forward, giving Chef’s whims the spotlight they deserve.

This week’s Pasta of the Moment: house-made olive fettuccini tossed with plump grilled shrimp in a fiery puttanesca sauce, finished with shaved Parmesan and fresh fine herbs. Bold, briny, and unapologetically flavorful.

Drink Features - January 2026

Slip into Barrel and Fork this month, where the spirit of Prohibition lingers in every bold, warming pour.

Forget the weak stuff—these are unapologetically boozy elixirs designed to chase away the cold: smoky bourbon masterpieces over glittering ice, spirit-forward cocktails with a rebellious edge, and deep, layered flavors that hit like a jazz riff on a frosty night.

Strong, seasonal, and sinfully satisfying—crafted to thaw the chill with undeniable swagger. Knock twice, whisper the password, and let the good times roll.

At a time when vintage seems cliché, yet modern is over-poured, Barrel & Fork embraces the past as we fight for the future. We invite our guests to indulge in the whimsical times when bourbon and wine on a Tuesday meant a good start to the weekend. We built a home where the food stops short of being pretentious and out of touch, and is exactly what you're looking for.
