First Semester Final Exams January 22nd-25th

Students are expected to be on campus for all blocks all week, regardless of the assessment format. By Friday, January 12th teachers will share review sheets and any remaining information pertaining to final assessments with their students. During the week of January 16th, teachers will dedicate at least one long block to reviewing for the upcoming exam.

During finals week, the first exam of each day starts at 8:30 a.m. If a student is late or misses her first exam, she may not take the second exam of the day. Should a student miss their exam, Ms. Gilbert will reach out to them directly to reschedule any make-up finals. The date for make-up finals is Thursday, January 25th, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

NHS Peer Tutoring

National Honors Society Peer Tutors are available before and after school, during lunch, study, and activity blocks. Connecting with an NHS Peer Tutor is a terrific way for your student to get more support in any of her content area classes. Students can find the "Tutor Support” icon on their iPad home screen. Clicking the icon leads to a sign-up form where your student can choose the day, time, and subject matter about which she would like to connect with a peer tutor.

School Pass & Attendance

Use the School Pass App to communicate an approved absence, prearrange a (fewer than 4 day) absence, pick your student up early from school, share a doctor’s note, or approve a late arrival. If you need assistance with signing up for School Pass, please email [email protected]

Finals Week Cafe Schedule

During finals week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the Cafe will be serving breakfast items. It's a long break so students will have plenty of time to enjoy breakfast between finals.

SMA Service Initiative Collaboration with SMA, SNJM, and MercyHousing

After Marylhurst University closed, the SNJM community determined next steps for the campus in Lake Oswego (LO). One of the first projects to come through is construction of MercyHousing. This is one of the first sets of MercyHousing units in the area, offering 100 affordable spaces to the LO community (learn more about MercyHousing).

The construction project is nearing completion and they will begin accepting applications in early April. As part of the acceptance process, each family/individual moving in receives a welcome kit with a series of basic household supplies.

As part of our service initiative for Catholic Schools Week, 2024, we are asking that every TA commit to purchasing items to create these 100 welcome kits. Please bring donations to TAs beginning January 16th. See the list below to find out which items are assigned to you daughter’s TA and help us welcome our neighbors home.

  • Senior TAs: dish soap, hand soap, sponges
  • Junior TAs: Paper towels, garbage bags
  • Sophomore TAs: Brooms and dust pans, tissue boxes
  • Freshman TAs: Kitchen and bathroom cleaners
