2021 Trinity Scholarship Recipients Announced

Congratulations to the following Trinity Scholars who are awarded scholarships from Trinity for use toward their education.

Each of the following recipients were awarded a total scholarship of $1600

Erin Green- awarded a Partial Brostrom Scholarship

Haley Hammond- awarded the Keenagers Scholarship and Partial Brostrom Scholarship

Kelly Shono- awarded the Jaffe Family Scholarship (minor in

religion) and Partial Brostrom Scholarship

Outdoor Worship to Continue through September

Due to continued concern over the pandemic Trinity will continue worship "Under the Trees" through September. A significant number of people expressed concerns about returning to indoor worship and preferred to continue outdoors. A return to indoor worship is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, October 3. Thanks to our wonderful choir and other musicians who work hard to make outdoor worship beautiful.

Church Office Schedule

Trinity's church office will be closed Tuesday, August 31st through Wednesday, Sept 8th as Lisa, our Parish Administrator is on vacation. All emails and messages will be responded to after Thursday, Sept 9th.

Thrivent Habitat 2021 Kickoff

Thrivent-Habitat LA kicked off to build two more LA homes at 94^th St. and Normandie recently. Over the next few months, volunteers from Thrivent Financial, faith and community partners, and the two families selected as the future homeowners will work together to build two new homes.

Look for news soon about how Trinity will participate in "build days" to complete both homes and to support the projects financially.

Saturday Spruce Ups @ Trinity

Join us Saturday mornings as we tidy up our campus!

When: Every Saturday morning, 9:00 - 10:30 am (except for rain).

Where: Meet in the parking lot.

What: Light clean up & maintenance (sweeping, weeding, cutting, pruning, minor gardening & fixes).

Brooms & tools on hand (but bring your mask).

Very informal - come when you can; stay as long (or as short) as you like!

Wednesday Night Yoga with Jenni Green

Join our virtual Beginner/Intermediate Hatha Class Wednesdays at 7pm-8pm. Be intentional in linking movement with breath. Find increased flexibility, strengthen the body and the spirit. Learn to control the breath. $7 per class. Classes are open to ages 14 and up. Please contact Jenni for more information.
