The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) acknowledges that dismantling racism is a long-term journey requiring discernment, prayer, and action rooted in worship. To respond to this challenge, the 211th General Assembly (1999) approved Facing Racism: A Vision of the Beloved Community, a comprehensive policy document that guides the church’s ministry of “racial” justice into the 21st century.

· How am I challenging public policies, actions, or systems that promote or sustain racism, and how can I deepen my commitment to this work?
