Mission Committee Summer Project
The Mission Committee has had a tradition of sponsoring some kind of collection drive during the summer. There has been “Sail into Summer”, the bucket collection for PCUSA, and collections for our friends and neighbors in need.
This summer, with the growing concern of rising prices for school supplies, the Mission Committee is asking that you help by purchasing school supplies of any kind and bring them to the church to put in the tote box near Bellinger Chapel labeled “School Supplies”. We will add our donations to other organizations who are doing the same collections.
The Mission Committee would also like to help out those ministries in our community that help provide food to children who don’t have anything to eat during the school year for dinner or on weekends. Please bring mac and cheese boxes (7oz.), instant oatmeal packets, fruit snacks, cheese and cracker snacks, granola bars, individual cereal boxes, juice boxes, beef sticks, or other similar items, and add them to the “Food” tote outside the chapel.
The Mission Committee members thank you for helping to support organizations that take care of the children of our community.
