Working together to maintain the community safety net
Dear Community Partners,

As the world continues to adapt and navigate the changes and impact of COVID-19, it becomes more and more evident that we are all in this together.

In fact, the influence of strong partnerships is even more apparent than ever at Compass Health. As a frontline care provider these unparalleled times, we've certainly appreciated the vital support that helps local organizations like ours maintain our collective community safety net.

Recognizing the impact of shared resources, our leadership team has developed a community COVID-19 hub on our website where you can download free templates based on the policies and protocols developed by the Compass Health team, and customize or repurpose them for use in your organization.

We're also working with local, state and national funders to maintain our own community safety net, ensuring our clients receive the care they need during this time of uncertainty. You can read more about the work we're doing to alleviate the burdens on the healthcare system here.

Finally, as we adhere to social distancing guidelines, our Training Department is actively evaluating trainings and class-sizes, making recommendations on virtual learning opportunities and re-scheduling when necessary.

These times can certainly bring anxiety about the future, but I'm continually inspired by our team at Compass Health and know that together our community is more than ready to face these challenges and grow even stronger.

Thank you for your continued support.

COVID-19 resources for your organization
Here at Compass Health, we recognize that many organizations might face challenges when it comes to communicating important messages regarding COVID-19 with the communities they serve. We want to help.

Our team of behavioral health professionals has worked hard to build rigorous systems and tools to ensure we can continue serving the most vulnerable members of our communities. We know that these are unprecedented times, and want to ensure that our friends across the behavioral health, nonprofit, business and other communities have helpful tools to reinforce safety and well-being in their work, too.

We've created free, downloadable templates and other resources that you can adapt to your organization's needs, including:
  • Handwashing Guides
  • Oganization Plans (Communications, Screening, Employees/Staffing, Client Workflow)
  • FAQs
  • Client Screen Questionnaire
  • COVID-19 Positive Patient Response Plan
Update on community trainings
Compass Health is proud to be a regional center for community trainings.

The safety and well-being of our staff and community is our top priority and we continue to take the necessary steps to minimize gatherings and adhere to social distancing practices as recommended by local health authorities. With that in mind, we will be making decisions about holding upcoming trainings on a case-by-case basis and will offer classes virtually when available. We understand that these are troubling times, and we are doing our best to coordinate additional opportunities for those who are interested in joining us in the future.
