Dear Friends,

It is my greatest honor to represent you in Congress. As always, my mission is to advocate for Upstate New York and the North Country’s priorities at the highest levels of government. 

As House Republican Conference Chair, I was honored to play a major role in crafting and unveiling House Republicans’ Commitment to America, which we will fulfill when we earn back the House Majority. As part of crafting this plan, I worked to ensure that the concerns of families in our district are included. Through this plan, we will put an end to the crises created by one-party Democrat rule in Washington and Albany by creating an economy that is strong, a nation that is safe, a future that is based on freedom, and a government that is accountable.

I am committed to creating an economy that is strong. Inflation is skyrocketing and Biden and House Democrats’ Far Left policies have plunged our economy into a recession, stolen wages from our workers, and destroyed our seniors’ retirement savings. Due to Democrats in Washington and Albany’s war on American energy and failed Green New Deal agenda, every family in New York is having the most expensive winter in over a decade. However, House Republicans have a plan in place to rein in inflation and drive down the cost of energy for hardworking families in New York’s 21st District. 



We will pass my REIN in Inflation Act, which will hold the Biden Administration accountable for fueling inflation by requiring the Administration to publish the inflationary impact of each executive action. We will have a package of bills that will unleash American energy independence and dominance to immediately lower the high price at the gas pump and for home heating.

I am committed to creating a nation that is safe. Far Left policies have fueled skyrocketing crime crisis and historic levels of illegal border crossings. I am committed to ending failed ‘bail reform’ and will support law enforcement with the funds and resources they need to keep our communities safe. In addition, we will secure our southern border and end the humanitarian crisis caused by the Biden Administration incentivizing illegal immigration and the flow of illegal drugs across our southern border that has made every state a border state. Instead of properly securing our southern border, the Biden Administration has forced our brave border patrol agents on the Northern Border into no-notice deployments to combat the overwhelming number of illegal immigrants and illicit fentanyl crossing our southern border. This tears families apart and risks the security of our Northern Border and must end.

I am committed to creating a future that is built on freedom. Joe Biden and Kathy Hochul have attacked the Constitutional rights of Americans through their gun-grabbing agenda. I will always stand up for New Yorkers’ Constitutional right to bear arms and will continue to provide a critical check on any unconstitutional policies that infringe on this right. In the face of Hochul’s gun-grabbing policy that has declared law-abiding gun owners in the Adirondack Park as felons, just as we did in New York’s earlier concealed carry issue, I am committed to bringing the concerns of New Yorkers all the way to the Supreme Court.

Additionally, parents in Upstate New York and the North Country are the primary stakeholder in their child’s education and deserve a say in their child’s education, but Far Left Democrats have pushed harmful COVID-19 mandates and Critical Race Theory throughout New York State, and shamefully used federal COVID-19 funds to implement this radical, woke agenda in New York classrooms. I will continue to lead the charge on behalf of New York families to pass House Republicans’ Parents Bill of Rights, recover learning loss caused by Democrats’ extended school closures, and put the power back in the hands of parents to equip our next generation.

In the wake of the deadly limousine crash in Schoharie County, I will fight for accountability on behalf of the Upstate New York families that were tragically impacted. For too long, the FBI turned a blind eye to the long history of negligence by the limousine company and its owner, and they continue to stonewall a critical investigation as well as my calls for transparency in the aftermath of this tragedy. 

I will also provide oversight on former Governor Cuomo’s deadly nursing home order and criminal cover up and demand accountability for Governor Hochul’s complicit involvement that took the lives of over 15,000 seniors. 

Accountability and transparency are a hallmark of our Commitment to America, and I have already laid the groundwork to conduct rigorous oversight to rein in government abuse of power and demand transparency for the communities and families in Upstate New York and the North Country impacted by these tragedies. The subpoenas are coming.
