DC CFAR Honors Trailblazing Community Partners
|
On June 24, 2021, the DC CFAR hosted a virtual Community Recognition event which included the premiere of the video titled, " They Made a Difference and We Thank Them: The DC CFAR Honors Trailblazing Community Partners", a project documenting the important contributions of these trailblazers to the early community response to the HIV epidemic and to the DC CFAR. In addition to this video, individual Community Profile videos were produced to capture additional stories and memories. We gratefully acknowledge the individuals who generously shared their stories and will feature their interviews in upcoming editions of the Weekly Update. We invite you to view these oral history videos on the DC CFAR website and hear the experiences of our community partners in their own words.
