Good morning, Cornerstone Family! Can you believe we've almost completed the book of Colossians?! This Sunday, Sheldon will lead us through Colossians 4:5-6 with a message titled, "Seasoned Speech". We look forward to seeing you at Cornerstone at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. online!

Our Fellowship Dinners are resuming! We’ll gather at Twisted Fresh (8905 W 135th St. Overland Park, KS 66221) on Thursday, Sept. 22nd from 6:00-7:30PM for a time of fellowship. This time together is a great way to meet new people and get to know others in the congregation. We hope to see you there!

The Single Mom KC is our September Mission Focus! TSMKC seeks to connect families and communities to single mothers while offering the love and hope of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through mentoring, seminars and workshops, family activities, a clothing boutique, and assistance with obtaining household goods.

Throughout September, Cornerstone will collect the following new items for The Single Mom KC (donation bags in foyer!):

• Full-size liquid bath/body wash
• Full-size body lotion
• Full-size shampoo and/or conditioner
• Deodorant
• Toothpaste and/or toothbrushes
• Make-up: eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, blush, lipstick

Please place your items in the Missions Bin in the church lobby or drop them off in the church parking lot tomorrow, Sept. 17th, between 10:00-11:00AM. Thank you for living out our mission to love others and serve our city!

Our membership class, Discover Cornerstone, is coming up on Sat., October 1st from 8:30AM-Noon. You’ll meet the staff and leadership, learn more about us and ultimately become a member. Even if you’re just interested in learning more about Cornerstone, this event is for you. To register, click the button below!

Our annual Fall Work Day will be held Sat., October 8, from 8:00AM to Noon (rain or shine)! This is an opportunity for all of us to pitch in and care for our beautiful church grounds and building. Projects inside and outside will be available. No need to register, just show up! We look forward to serving with you!

The restrooms on the north side of the building are still under construction but the finished product will be worth the wait!
