Happy Friday, Cornerstone Family! While Sheldon recovers from hip replacement surgery, we have the pleasure of welcoming three guest preachers this month. On Sunday, we'll hear from our second guest preacher, Tami Lundgren, the Overland Park Campus Associate Pastor at Colonial Presbyterian Church. You can read more about Tami below. We look forward to seeing you at Cornerstone at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. online!

After 10 years of staying at home, Tami decided to go to seminary and while there, God lit her passion for marriage ministry. You can still hear her advocate for healthy marriages just about every time she speaks!

She also values small group communities and authentic relationships. She has a done a bit of everything at Colonial Presbyterian Church, but currently oversees the marriage ministry, small groups, and women’s ministry.

Our annual Fall Work Day will be held Sat., October 7th, from 8:00-11:00AM (rain or shine)! This is an opportunity for all of us to pitch in and care for our beautiful church grounds and building. Projects inside and outside will be available. No need to register, just show up! We look forward to serving with you!

Join us at Parents' Night Out on Friday, September 22 as we kick off the fall season with a Blue Out Dance Party! Parents, experience an evening of free childcare while your kids enjoy dinner, a dance party, crafts, and games in a safe, nurturing environment. This event is for infants through 5th grade. Event: Parenting Class

Date: Sundays beginning October 1st

Where: Room B129, Lower Level

Description: You are invited to join our first parenting class co-led by Ashleigh MacGillivray and Cornerstone Member, Cheri Lemieux. We will walk through what it means to be a Christian parent using the book Parenting by Paul David Tripp.This class is open to any parents so you're encouraged to invite friends!

Childcare: Childcare will be provided in our nursery for kids 3 and under. Kids 4 and older will attend the music class during this time. Check-in will be at the Cornerstone Kids check-in desk.
