Our Easter Hunt-A-Trunk is back by popular demand! Instead of a traditional Easter egg hunt, we will be hosting an "Easter Hunt-a-Trunk" modeled after our popular "Trunk or Treat". Check out all the details below!

When: Saturday, April 1, from 11:00AM-12:30PM

Details: Inflatable obstacle course, funnel cakes, a visit from Slugger, candy-filled Easter eggs, an exotic petting zoo, face painting and more!

RSVP: Families who RSVP will be entered to win raffle prizes on the day of the event.

Here's how you can help:

• Sign up to serve as a "trunker" for the day of the event! Cornerstone will provide you with stuffed plastic eggs. Your job is to decorate your trunk for spring and pass out eggs to kids!
• Volunteer to set up/tear down, assist with food/drinks or other various activities!
• During the month of March, donate bite-sized, individually-wrapped candies that we can use to stuff the eggs.

If you love the smell of fresh cut grass on warm summer evenings and the view of a lush green landscape, we need your help! Our beautiful property is mowed and trimmed entirely by volunteers, saving many thousands of dollars a year. If you are willing to volunteer for as little as once a month for 2-3 hours using Cornerstone’s riding mowers, join the mowing team! Spring is HERE; Contact Layne Walters to sign up!

So far, we have collected 3,194 plastic eggs and 5,398 pieces of candy. Awesome job, Cornerstone! Keep them coming!

As a reminder, we’re collecting plastic eggs and wrapped bite-size candy for our Easter Hunt-A-Trunk. This is a huge outreach for Cornerstone and we need several thousand eggs to make this event a success!

Mission bags are available in the church lobby. Fill a bag with eggs and/or candy and place it in the Missions Bin or drop it off in the church parking lot tomorrow morning between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. Please note that we are unable to accept small toys, Easter "grass" or other miscellaneous items. Thank you for donating!

Come watch college basketball during the "big dance"! Enjoy food and fellowship with others from Cornerstone. Bring family, friends & neighbors and have fun rooting for your favorite team. We'll have a few tables reserved. Who knows?! There may even be some challenge games and prizes. RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Join us at our next Fellowship Dinner this coming Thursday, March 23rd. Stop by anytime between 6:00-7:30PM at Chicken N Pickle (5901 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66223). This time together is a great way to meet new people to get to know people in the congregation. We hope to see you there!
