Phishing test results
Test results from the Compliance Department's April phishing test are good: 98.8% of employees successfully spotted and ignored or deleted the phishing email sent to you. Only 1.2% clicked through on the email. This is a great result, and one that everyone should feel good about.

Today’s computing environment is filled with attempts to steal information or conduct ransomware attacks on vulnerable institutions, including healthcare. Your ability to spot these bogus emails is key to keeping us up and running and treating patients to the best of our abilities. For all emails, keep in mind the following:

  • Hover your cursor over a link to see where it really goes
  • Beware of emails that try to instill a sense of fear or urgency
  • Watch out for emails that claim to be from inside the hospital but contain the blue “External Email” banner at the top

Congratulations on the great results, and keep up the good work!
