Peachtree City has installed speed humps in high traffic golf cart path areas to help avoid speeding and accidents with bicyclists, pedestrians and bystanders.

July 4th Reminder
Just a reminder that the 4th of July celebration fireworks and parade have been rescheduled to Saturday, September 5 2020.
Kedron Pool Hours for July 3 and July 4

Kedron Pools will be open Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. The building and gym will be closed since it is a City holiday. The restrooms will be open, but there will be no access to the showers or dressing areas. 

Rockaway Road Compost Facility Closed Saturday, July 4
The Rockaway Road Compost Facility off Highway 74 South will be closed Saturday, July 4. The facility will open on Wednesday, July 8, at 1:00 p.m
Bridge from City Hall to Picnic Park Closes Wednesday, July 1
There has been a delay in the schedule for the major rehab work on the golf cart bridge from City Hall to Picnic Park. Work is now scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 1, for approximately four weeks, weather permitting. Access to and from the City Hall area to the park will still be available using the multi-use path along Willowbend Road.
The Fred Reschedules July Concerts
The concerts planned in July at The Fred have been rescheduled, and the 2020 concert season will officially begin on August 8 with Daughtry. Fans who purchased tickets for the July shows will be able to use their existing tickets on the new dates. Tickets will not be reissued for the dates. The changes include:

·          Departure: The Journey Tribute Band – (July 18) Saturday, September 12
·          The Black Jacket Symphony Presents The Eagles Hotel California – (July 11), Saturday, September 19
·          Gone West – (July 25) Friday, October 2

Fayette Senior Services
Fayette Senior Services’ facilities , including The Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail, opened last week. Restrictions are in place, and masks are required for anyone entering an FSS facility. FREE COVID-19 TESTING
The Fayette County Health Department is offering drive-thru COVID-19 testing on Tuesdays, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Pre-registration is strongly recommended. To register, visit Georgia Department of Public Health or click the button on the left.
Keep Peachtree City Beautiful
KPTCB needs a bit of your help. You see the blue trash cans we are all familiar with that are located along the path system and in our city parks are intended for incidental trash only. These cans are not intended to be utilized for:
·      Household trash
·      Yard debris
·      Materials from cleaning out a garage/attic

City Offices Closed July 3rd
City Offices will be closed Friday, July 3, for the July 4 th holiday. The Library will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.
