KICA's Brand New Mobile App
So many of us use a smartphone or tablet to check our email, connect with family, read books and even get directions. KICA is excited to bring that connection and convenience to you with our new free mobile app!
When you're off the island, you can put yourself here by pulling up the beach cam or stay up to date on island news. When you're here, you and your guests can navigate with our local map, see local events, contact security to call in a gate pass, share an island maintenance issue with our office and receive instant push-notifications about traffic delays or severe weather updates.
Our app is available for you (and your family, friends or guests) to download on your smartphone or tablet through the App Store (Apple platforms) or Google Play (Android platforms). Search "Kiawah Island Community Association" to find our free app.

Amenities Evaluation: Detailed Information Materials in Development
 Between May 1 and May 5, KICA held seven member information sessions to share options for improving amenities on Kiawah. None of the concepts are active proposals, and no votes have been authorized by the board. Simply put, these sessions were a first step in collecting feedback from the community.
Three potential projects were shared, and we heard great feedback, both positive and negative. However, even with webcast availability, many members weren't able to attend. As a result, detailed information materials are being developed and will be mailed to each member, along with a survey. The information will also be posted on our website. The survey will allow the entire community to provide specific feedback and guide the board on whether or not a formal proposal should be submitted to the membership for a vote. The timeline of next steps will be communicated to the membership as soon as its finalized.
