It's RED Friday, Cornerstone Family! Sheldon's continuing in our Encounters with Jesus series this Sunday with a message titled, "The Centurion". Everyone is encouraged to wear RED to support the Chiefs in the Super Bowl! We look forward to seeing you at Cornerstone at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. online!

Cornerstone Social exists to bring people together for connection and community. They gather monthly for various activities throughout the KC area. Invite friends to these events or get to know others in the congregation. Check out the February event below!

Event: Museum Outing

Date: Monday, February 19th

Time: 1:00-4:00PM (meet at 12:00PM noon in the church parking lot if you'd like to carpool)

Where: Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, 4525 Oak St, Kansas City, MO 64111

Description: Cornerstone Social is kicking off their first event of the year with a visit to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art! They will meet at the Rozelle Court inside the Nelson at 1:00PM. If you'd like to carpool, meet at the church parking lot at 12:00PM (noon). Admission to the museum is free but there may be a cost to park, depending on where you park. There is a coffee shop inside so plan on taking a break with coffee or tea for art discussion and fellowship. Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Hope to see you there!

A new month means a new mission! This month, we're collecting various baby items for Advice & Aid Pregnancy Centers. Advice & Aid helps women and their families make an educated decision about an unplanned pregnancy.

Mission bags are available in the church lobby. You can purchase items from their Amazon wishlist (ship directly to them or to your home) or you can contribute diapers/wipes (the sizes needed are listed on the bag). Place your donations in the missions bin anytime this month. Thank you for blessing these expectant mothers!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. It is a time for reflection, repentance, and renewal as we journey toward the celebration of Jesus' resurrection at Easter. Together, we will remember that our only rescue from the dust of death is the cross and Christ's resurrection.

This year, our Ash Wednesday service will be Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 7:00PM. We look forward to worshiping with you!

Note: child care is available for infants through age four.
