Weekly Update:

Friday, November 11, 2022

Happy Friday, Cornerstone! There's a lot going on in the life of Cornerstone on Sunday. Check it out below!

  • It's week two of our message series, Show and Tell! Sheldon will lead us with a message titled, "Following Christ".
  • We'll be introducing the newest Cornerstone members in both services! Read information about them in the above graphic!
  • Nate Uglialoro will be baptized during the 11:00AM service. Martin Taggart was baptized last Sunday also in the 11:00AM service. It's a joy to celebrate with Nate and Martin!
  • We will be unveiling one of two memorial benches we had made in honor of Ron Reno. Ron served as Cornerstone's Children's Ministry Director for five and a half years until his passing last August. The memorial benches will be placed by the playground in our backyard.

November Mission Focus

For our November Mission Focus, we’re supporting Mission Southside’s Tree of Hope! Choose the gifts you’d like to donate from the tags on the Tree of Hope in the lobby. These gifts will be used in Mission Southside’s Christmas Store where families in need can come to pick out gifts.

Place the unwrapped gifts in the missions bin during the month of November. If you're donating gift cards, they can be mailed to Cornerstone or given to Jordan Buscher in the staff office. Thank you for your donations!

$50 Challenge Final Update

We have exciting news to share! We raised a total of $7,100 for City Union Missions' Thanksgiving Dinner initiative. Cornerstone, you went above and beyond our $5,000 goal for our 4KC $50 Challenge and, because of you, you're providing 2,840 Thanksgiving meals to those in need. That's incredible! Thank you for living 4KC!
