Weekly Update:

Friday, January 6, 2023

Happy Friday, Cornerstone Family! This Sunday, we're kicking off a new message series titled, Good Faith: Living God's Way in Today's World. Sheldon will begin week one with a message titled, "Salt and Light".

Our services will include celebration of the Lord's Supper. We'll also be collecting our Deacons' Fund offering as an outflow of our worship. This fund is designated to assist people in our congregation and community who are struggling financially. You can place your offering in one of the boxes in the Worship Center or give securely online (select "Deacons Benevolence" in dropdown menu).

We look forward to seeing you at Cornerstone at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. online!

Cornerstone Basics is a class designed for you to learn more about the basics of the Christian faith. Elder Deb Swirczynski will lead the class through Bruce Wilkinson's "Survey of the Bible". Details and registration below!

  • When: Sundays starting January 15th, 10:10-10:50AM, 10 weeks
  • Where: Cornerstone Library
  • Cost: $10
  • Description: Some parts are the Bible are easy to understand yet many are not. With its lengthly genealogies Levitical laws, and apocalyptic visions, even for sincere readers, reading with understanding can be a monumental task. To navigate these challenging and potentially treacherous waters, you need a trustworthy and experienced guide-- someone who knows both the word of the text and the ways of God in human history. That is why this course was created-- to help people understand the big picture of God's Word.
