Sunset Sounds is Back for a second time this year!
Join us on October 24, 2020 at Drake Field from 4:00pm to 7:00pm! There will be Live music from Corbette Jackson, Food Trucks, and craft beer!

Tickets to Sunset Sounds are just $12.00 and include:

Construction on SR 54 by MacDuff Parkway

Beginning today, October 12, 2020- October 19th. The construction of a multi-use path bridge will be in process. Please note that this will require lane closures and road closures at various times even with crews working at night. Complete road closures will happen at night, please see the below pictures for detour routes.

 Traffic Interruptions October 12-19th between Macduff Parkway and Wynnemeade Parkway on GA-54.

o  Tuesday-Thursday 5AM-7PM
Expect Partial turning lane closure in EB left turning lane and lane shift in WB Lanes 1 &2 directly in front of 2801 GA-54.
o  Tuesday-Thursday 7PM-5AM
Expect partial turning lane closure in EB Left turning lane. Full closure on WB, detour through Wynnemeade Subdivision.  Truck traffic required to detour through Senoia
o  Friday-Sunday 10PM-5AM
Full EB & WB Closure. Residents are expected to detour through Wynnmeade subdivision and Senoia. All truck traffic required to follow detour route through Senoia. 
Faith & Blue Event
The first annual Faith & Blue event this past Friday was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out to visit with our awesome Peachtree City Police Department! And big thanks to Grazing Here & The Mad Greek for feeding everyone. We hope ya'll come back next year!

Tue., October 13th – Crafting at the Library on Facebook
Drop in to the Peachtree City Library between 10:00am – 5:00pm on Monday, October 12th to pick up free supplies to make a simple decorative craft to take with you. Supplies are limited. Thu., October 15th– Couponing Tips and Tricks on Zoom, 11:00am
Join Librarian Cherese on Zoom to find out how to easily save money on groceries at your favorite stores, how earn a little extra spending money for the upcoming holidays, and save some cash on your online purchases. Wed., October 28th— “Tele” Teen Book Club on Conference Call, 6:00pm
Teens ages 13-18 are welcome to join the Peachtree City Library’s “Tele” Teen Book Club. Teens will meet once a month to read and discuss books in the Young Adult genre. All meetings will be by phone and last between 30-45 minutes. A free phone number and access code will be sent by email to participants on the morning of the book discussion. October’s book is “The Graveyard Book” by Neil Gaiman. Registration is required. Register on Eventbrite.
 
Sat., October 31st – Mini-Spooky Event, 3:00pm-4:00pm
 Join the Peachtree City Library for a mini-Halloween event. There will be a candy station, coloring station, take home craft station, selfie station with our spooky background, and a short spooky story at 3:45pm. Participants must bring their own lawn chairs if they would like to sit during the story time. Costumes encouraged. This event will be held outside the front door of the library.
